Tourist attraction: Scores of Libyans queued to see the corpses of Gaddafi and his son Mutassim in a freezer in a Misrata warehouse

The corpses of Muammar Gaddafi, his son Muatassim and a former aide have been moved from a commercial freezer in a Misrata warehouse in anticipation of burial, a security guard said.

Local military spokesman Ibrahim Beitalmal said the burial is likely to take place today.

The three men would be buried in unmarked graves in a secret desert location to avoid vandalism or the place becoming a shrine.

Asked about the removal of the bodies from the freezer, he said he was unaware of the process of burial getting under way.

However Salem al-Mohandes, a security guard at the warehouse complex, said the bodies were taken away late on Monday evening, where they had been on display for the past four days.

Ist es so? Oder haben wir nur die Verantwortung für das Denken verlagert? Verlagert zu dem was wir lesen? Was uns mitgeteilt wird? Die Sicht im Nebel ist ja beschränkt.

Sind nur Zeitungen, Magazine, Fernsehen, das Internet mit Webinhalten wie auch unzählige Blogs für unser Denken verantwortlich? was da steht muss doch stimmen!! Was ich in den Nachrichten sehe muss doch wahr sein!!

Doch wir haben die Verantwortung abgegeben, etwas in die Wege geleitet was niemals funktionieren wird und kann. Wir Denken nicht mehr wir konsumieren. Reizüberflutung mit negativen Schlagzeilen. Erste Reihe wie im Kino und wir sind dabei live im Krieg und können jaulen, schreien oder wie beim Feuerwerk ah und oh rufen.

Die türkische Armee hat seit Mitte August rund 270 Separatisten der Arbeiterpartei Kurdistans (PKK) im Süden des Landes und im benachbarten Nordirak getötet.

Das teilte der Generalstabschef der türkischen Streitkräfte, Armeegeneral Necdet Özel am Montag im türkischen Fernsehen mit. Etwa 210 Separatisten seien verwundet worden. Allein am Montag seien im Kazan-Tal 15 Extremisten getötet worden, hieß es.

Die vom russischen Außenamt aufgestellte „schwarze Liste“ US-amerikanischer hochrangiger Beamter, denen die Einreise nach Russland verboten ist, enthält unter anderem Namen von Mitarbeitern der Drogenbekämpfungsbehörde (DEA), die an der Operation zur Festnahme des angeblichen russischen Waffenhändlers Viktor Bout teilgenommen haben, teilt die Zeitung „Moskowskije Nowosti“ am Montag mit.

Die US-Justiz wirft dem Russen Bout “Verschwörung zur Tötung von Amerikanern, Waffenschmuggel und die Förderung des Terrorismus” vor.

Das russische Einreiseverbot für US-Staatsbeamte ist eine Antwort Moskaus auf die vom US-Außenamt zusammengestellte „schwarze Liste“ für russische Beamte, die mit dem Fall des Juristen des Investmenthauses Hermitage Capital Sergej Magnitski verbunden sind, teilt die Zeitung mit.

A virus that is similar to the deadly Ebola strain has been discovered in Europe for the first time.

Scientists found the Lloviu virus – a filovirus normally found in East Africa and the Philippines – in a group of bats living in caves in Asturias and Cantabria, in northern Spain.

Researchers told the journal PLOS Pathogens that filoviruses were among the deadliest in humans – and that the study showed how the strains were developing and spreading.

Study author Gustavo Palacios said: ‘The detection of this novel filovirus in Spain is intriguing because it is completely outside of its previously described range.

‘We need to ascertain whether other filoviruses native to Europe exist, and more importantly, if and how it causes disease.’

Scientists analysed samples from the lungs, livers, spleens, throats and brains from 34 bats found in the caves.
