Germany finds deadly E. coli on cucumbers again

Germany finds deadly E. coli on cucumbers again

The deadly strain for the E. coli outbreak was found again on cucumbers, authorities of German state Saxony-Anhalt said on Wednesday.

The strain O104 was found on the scraps of cucumbers in a dustbin in the eastern city of Magdeburg, said State Health Minister Holger Paech.

The dustbin belongs to a family in which three members have been ill. Paech said. The father only suffered a slight stomach upset, while the mother was once treated at a hospital and is now released. Their daughter is suffering from hemolytic-uremic syndrome (HUS), a serious complication from the infection of E. coli.

EHEC wird gejagt, nach Gurken und Tomaten nun Sprossen, nach Restaurant in Lübeck nun ein Anbaugebiet in der Heide. Nun kommt die Kartoffel ins Spiel und manch schlauer Kopf brachte nun Fleisch ins rennen.

Fäkalien auf dem Feld im Grunde eine normale Angelegenheit und niemand wurd ernsthaft krank und heute nun?

Wie war das mit BSE CJK vor einigen Jahren, es kam und verschwand, zumindest aus den Medien.

Seit Pakistan im vergangenen Jahr bei den USA und der UNICEF in Ungnade gefallen ist, erkranken immer mehr junger Menschen in dem Land an Polio (Kinderlähmung). Dies weckt Zweifel an den guten Absichten der Impfbefürworter. Noch weit schwerer wiegt, dass die meisten Neuerkrankungen bei Kindern auftraten, die bereits geimpft waren. Versuchen die USA etwa, Pakistan zu bekämpfen, indem Impfdosen verunreinigt werden?
